Xiaomi launches Mijia Air Conditioning Giant Power Saving Pro Soft Wind Version Vertical Large 3 HP

AI in this model can cut energy consumption by up to 45%

Xiaomi has started selling its new Mijia Air Conditioning Giant Power Saving Pro Soft Wind Version Vertical Large 3 HP floor-standing air conditioner. On JD.com, the unit is priced at 5,499 yuan ($800), while government subsidies in certain regions reduce the price to 4,655.45 yuan ($675).

Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioning for large rooms

The air conditioner is designed for sizeable spaces, including living rooms and spacious bedrooms. It features a 181 mm-wide air duct and can deliver airflow of up to 1,760 m³/h. Its stated noise level starts at 42 dB(A).

AI energy-saving features

Xiaomi highlights the model’s energy efficiency. According to the company, the air conditioner uses the Mijia Lingyun energy-saving algorithm, which employs AI to adjust operation according to demand and can reduce energy consumption by up to 45%. It has an APF energy-efficiency rating of 5.31, with estimated savings of up to 884 kWh per year.

The model also supports over-the-air updates, integration with the Mijia ecosystem and Xiaomi’s proprietary Pengpai smart connectivity system, allowing the air conditioner to be linked with other smart-home devices.
