Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Timer Gas Stove 3 Pro Anti-Dry Burn Edition on its Youpin platform. Designed for natural gas, the model is priced at 2,299 yuan, while its launch price was 1,899 yuan ($278).

The appliance uses a pressure-sensitive titanium-alloy sensor that monitors the temperature of a pan in real time. It can detect dry burning, then quickly shut off the gas supply and extinguish the flame.

Timer and cooking performance

This two-burner gas stove includes a timer adjustable from 1 to 180 minutes, automatically turning off the gas and putting out the flame at the selected time. This is useful for slow simmering and everyday cooking. It delivers up to 5,200 W of power, meets the new Level 1 energy-efficiency standard and, according to the manufacturer, can reduce gas bills.
